1. Organiser

LensCrown competitions are run by FOCUSFRAME (PTY) LTD ("we", "us"). Contact: hello@lenscrown.co.za.

2. Entering

Entry is free. Each person may enter one original photo per competition. You must be 18 or older, or have a parent or guardian's consent. By entering you confirm the photo is your own work and that you have permission from anyone recognisable in it. You keep the copyright. You give us permission to show the photo on this website and on our social media to promote the competition.

We check every entry before it goes live and may reject entries that are not original, are offensive, or break these terms.

3. Voting

Anyone may vote for any approved contestant while voting is open. Each vote costs R5, paid through Yoco. Up to 400 votes can be bought per payment and there is no limit on the number of payments. Votes are counted once Yoco confirms the payment.

Votes are final and non-refundable, except where the Consumer Protection Act or other law requires a refund. Votes linked to fraudulent, disputed or reversed payments (chargebacks) are removed.

4. Winners

When voting closes, the contestants with the most valid votes take 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. If two contestants have the same number of votes, the one who reached that total first ranks higher. Live scores are shown on the competition page.

5. Prizes

Prizes for each competition are listed on its page. We contact winners within 7 days of voting closing. Cash prizes are paid by EFT into a South African bank account in the winner's name within 30 days, after we verify their identity. Prizes can't be transferred or exchanged. If a winner can't be reached within 30 days, or is disqualified, the prize passes to the next-placed contestant.

6. Disqualification

We may disqualify a contestant who submits someone else's work, uses fraudulent payments, harasses others or breaks these terms. Votes received by a disqualified contestant are not refunded, except where the law requires it.

7. Withdrawing

Taking part is voluntary. A contestant may withdraw at any time by emailing us. Votes already received are not refunded.

8. Privacy

We collect names, emails and phone numbers only to run the competition, issue receipts and contact winners, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). We don't sell your information. Card details are handled entirely by Yoco; we never see or store them.

9. Not an investment

LensCrown is a talent competition. Buying votes is not an investment and does not guarantee any return. Please only spend what you can comfortably afford.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The version published when you enter or vote applies to that competition. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
